I have 'finally' got round to taking some pics of the house so you can see where I am. It feels like finally because I have been meaning to for oo days, even though it has taken much less than a week (see previous entry) :P
I am not going to put them on here because it will really slow down the page display for those of you with slower connections so I have created a separate blog for the pics. If one of my brothers could download them to show to mum and dad that would be cool, thanks in advance Dx
Oh yeah almost forgot the picture blog is at dannieinamericapics.blogspot.com

You still there?
Yes sorry just not feeling sufficiently motivated to post. Will get on it soon promise
So how is the life of the imposter?
You will be delighted to know that, even though it insists on giving me the page in Chinese (e.g. Dannie 说... instead of Dannie said...), I have worked out how to change my posting handle. No more ncld... well, not by my hand anyway. I think. I'll find out when I post this. :-)
Hope the disinterested feeling of culture-shock gives way to the fascinated feeling of adventure. Timmy.
Woo hoo... it worked!
(sigh) On my own then?
:-)
Sorry still flat lining on motivation and inspiration. How is the other side of the world?
T'other side of the world is dusk right now, which means it'll be dawn soon in America and afternoon soon in the UK. With one brother in America and two sisters in the UK, it's fun for me to think around the timezones once in the while. And now you're in the same timezone as my bro, so you're part of the happy little puzzle too. Timmy
Glad you managed to sort out your name Timotei-whatever time it may be in the Orient.
Dan- look forward to reading more on your blog soon
N
of course, since it was so much more interesting, I could always change the name back the other way...
Hi Jeff - the investment in brand recognition has paid off obviously. :-) It is notoriously difficult to abbreviate Tim, or even Timothy, and so young Miss Jefferies has resorted to the only nickname anyone has ever managed to come up with for me... and one that never sticks for long... Still, you can't blame young Goldilocks for trying can you!
wow- that's twice you've referred to someone as young in one post- have you been counting the grey hairs recently Timotei? I'm sure there's something out there that will restore its original colour.
Too much in fact - here some of the brands of shampoo have hair darkening additives, to help give that authentic Chinese look... Do you think we should invite Dan to the conversation on his blog?
It might be an idea- I guess it's only polite, since it is his blog, but it's not like we're trying to keep him out-he's just not joining in.
So areyou using a shampoo with additives, or trying to avoid the 'young-look'? Perhaps you should send Dan some of the shampoo with additives at somepoint ;-)
